cutting down a scotty?
hey, i was wondering what the difference in feel is from a 35'' or 33'' and the difference in performance.
when some one says its cut down to 33'', i presume that they did it themselves, so does the original performance change by doing this? how does this defer from just choking down on the putter?
thanks anyone

The swing weight changes since you are cutting two inches off the shaft. SW should feel a little lighter.

Like Saint said the swing weight will change.. Scotties come in 3 lenghts and three corosponding head weights.. 33" - 350g, 34"-340g, 35"330g...
Perhaps you could add 20 grams of weight?? I have never done this but thats my thought..Proud Member BigJohnnys Ryder Cup Team '08

Shortening a shaft makes the head feel lighter.
