    Can you recommend golf packages in Vermont or NY?

    I'm looking for recommendations for a good place to go in May, with a few of the guys. We want good prices for good golf & decent accommodations. If you have a recommendation, get in touch. Thanks.

    Malone NY is the default response for this part of the world. Several courses take Can $ at Par.
    I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

    We played down in Canton and Potsdam NY last fall. Great deal, good courses.

    My wife & I went to Lake Placid for opening weekend last year (first weekend of March) and loved it. The Hilton and the Crowne Plaza have pretty good packages, although the Hilton's requires you to pay extra to play the Lake Plaid Club courses (which are the best ones there, of course). Beware: their idea of a clubhouse down there (with the exception of the Lake Placid Club) is not the same as ours (think: cabin). Placid is a better bet than Malone if you want more from the destination than just golf.

    Binghamton has 3 really nice courses (Conklin Players Club; Hiawatha Landing & En Joie [host of PGA BC Open]). Check out the Conklin web site @ http://conklinplayers.com/
