We were I believe 14 4somes last september and in the begining (july) I had a list of close to 100 people who wanted to attend! We will wait till i get an idea of numbers, then negotiate with a couple of course then put up the final plan with date and cost.... then we will see who wants to play They tend to run when it comes time to pay up.

Exactly why I don't want to organize another outing. Glad Indio has taken the lead on organization, but the hassle is just too much.

Well because it iwasn't a tournament with prizes and a catered meal, lest September's event wasn't tooooooo bad. But I did have to change Tee off times about 5 times and accommodate people in other foursomes.... but all in all, it wasn't too much of a hassle. From the initial response, I expected about 30 foursomes.... was quite disappointed when only 14 foursomes confirmed.

Yes would have to agree with Andy4par, we went with 8 of us last fall and it was a great deal and a wonderful weekend of golf!!

Thumbs up OG Forum Golf Day

When? ...doesn't matter (retired) and location, the same. But.... suggest, if available, Eagle Creek, while we can still get in. Never been there, so this may be my last chance. I'm like Golf Bum, collecting beer bottles for a new truck, so I can collect more beer bottles, so I can play better courses

Charter a Greyhound, load the sticks into the luggage compartment and a small duffle bag with a change of clothes. Depart Ottawa, go west on the 401 to London. Come down and play Forest City National or Firerock.
How's that sound for a road trip? One night stay in London, play golf the next morning and head back home. Come one boys and girls, see some of Ontario!
My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

I voted yes I'd be there, but depends on date and cost. And hopefully it won't conflict with the Ryder Cup type event.

The only one who gets into that purse is my wife. But I'm getting older, so who knows. Wanna play for double stakes?

I would even come down from beautifull Montreal; for a repeat of last year. Different course is fine by me. Count me in, I'll even take time off from work to play with OGer.

Booking tournaments now at Eagle Creek will dictate going through Clublink and deposits will be required. Existing tournaments for this year are as per their agreement with Andre, but new ones are not as far as I have been told.
