    Question Composite Stick

I have heard broken one piece composite sticks can now be repaired. Anybody know a place who does this. East end preferably.

You can buy a repair kit and do it yourself, but hockey one on industrial does it as well (or use too). I've heard that they are not very durable once repaired and they loose some of there kick, you'd probably be better off finding a good one piece on sale and save your money on the repair for a new stick! If the blade broke off, then the shaft can be used, just add a replacement blade and your back out for your next shift.

    composite fix

the "hockey stall" in Stittsville does it for $40 plus tax.
depending on break point there will be little or a lot of performance change.
an insert is put into the shaft after trimming and you can barely see it if its not on a logo'd portion of the shaft.
If the break is less than 18in from blade or if your stick is worth less than $100 bucks I wouldn't bother.

Play it Again at the Sens Plex does it for $30.00 + tax. Seems like a pretty good job. Only took out about 2 inches, and its a little stiffer now. All in all, good deal.
