The bored thread
We're all bored and can't wait for the real golf season to open up again. So I thought why not start a Bored thread to spice up our lifes a little. i just want to know what bores you the most. Anything golfers,tv shows, your wife you name it. So here goes and I'll start it with the following. To me the most boring hockey team to watch is the NJ devils. They are good but I just can't watch them. The Habs are also boring to me although I have been a long time Hab fan. Let's read it folks.m By the way you can't say that I am boring even though it may have crossed your mind Make me laugh.

Grey's Anatomy. My wife loves the show and I feel brain cells dying every time I watch it.
The only good point is the hot redhead doctor. They should have more of her. Naked.

WNBA. If it's on TV, it's an accident.

I have to agree with the NJ Devils comment as well as finding no new threads to read and comment on........I'll add most every show on the CBC and rainy weekends with thunderstorms in the immediate vacinity to the mix

-listening to TGC et al gush over Tiger
-listening to any golfer describe his round, shot for shot, after I just played with him, thinking that it is interesting or that I care.
-watching curling
-walking, because of an injury, instead of running

I was never a fan of curling but I do enjoy watching a final for the gold medal or a world championship. And watching Kelly Law never hurt, and the ladies from Sweden/Finland.

Knowing that there is a Sens/Sabres game on that will surely be exciting and possibly fight filled, and being stuck watching the Leafs and Philly

I hope you're not serious. Just because it gets hot doesn't make it a sport. By that logic, sitting in the sauna at the gym is a sport . And i've seen some overweight lookin nascar drivers. The only people in racing who might be considered athletes are the pit crew. Those guys have some quick feet and hands.

I think you have to be in decent shape to be a race car driver, but then you have to be in decent shape to figure skate or synchro swim and a lot of other things that aren't sports.

What is your definition of a sport? To me it is anything that has to do with hand eye coordination . Is curling a sport? Is pool a sport? Is golf a sport? Is lawn bowling a sport? Now watching Poker or chest on the Sports channel is a different story.

If all it requires is hand eye coordination, then auto mechanics, computer technicians etc etc etc are all athletes. But, here are a few criteria. If it is a race type sport, then the human has to generate the speed (keep in mind, skiiers have to push off for a start, as do bobsledders etc etc etc). Second...man-titties not allowed. Finally, there also needs to be a combination of multiple talents - ie hand eye coordination, strength, aerobic fitness.
