Hmmm, I was out of the room for a few minutes and I thought the 10th was the second playoff hole. I assumed they played 18 over first as usual. My mistake.

It took Chucky 3 years to finally beat a lefty in a Playoff at the Nissan!
The thing I don't get is Phil "What Will He Do Next?" on the 18th in regulation had 204 off a hanging lie and tries to muscle an 8 iron to the green. I mean I know he is long, but it cost him the tournament.
Oh well it was nice to see Howell win. He is a classy guy.
I bet Callaway was just loving this event! My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

Great entertainement, going head to head, now thats what its all about.I was sitting on the edge because i was also looking at the daytona 500.They had to stop the race with 3 laps to go at the same time that both guys were going into a playoff.I was switching back and forth( even the dog was going nuts) I tell you they shouldnt do this to us old guys.

It was nice to see CH III beat Phil in a playoff.
I agree Golfbum that Phil should of played a bit more conservative on #18, the bogey also on #13 also hurt him too. Exciting finish.

I agree completely. Even trying that lobber off the green and laying sod. What was it they said last year, Phil never takes 'stupid' out of the equation. I really enjoy watching Phil, and when he's got everything grooved he can beat anyone. But there is always the gambler there, and the difference between him and Tiger is that Tiger will NEVER beat himself.
Big congrats to CHIII, he's looking great this year, like he's finally going to live up to his potential.

It was great to see Howell win!
Also, it was great to see him earn a win the hard way ... in a tight race where he had to make a lot of chips and putts under pressure. Should help his short game confidence and lead to many more wins
As for Phil's confidence ... well that's a different story.NCGT Ryder Cup Team Green (06,07,08)

I feel bad for Phil. His problem is SEROIUS attention defecit disorder he suffers same mental errors on the course I do only I"m just some chump amateur(can I even call myself that haha) while he's a pro.
Case in point: That putt on the 18th he DIDN"T have to put before those guys. Whenever I make 2 bad shots in a row and then "PUTT FIRST" to "GET IT OVER WITH" you always miss like 8/10 I knew he missed it before he even swung. He just lets errors compound like I do. I can relate to Phil I Hope he wins a few more times this year.

Also: His drive on the 1st playoff Chuck stepped back a few times took his time. Lefty just went out and banged it into the bushes haheheh

Some of the ugliest short chip and pitch shots that I've even seen Phil hit!! No excuse he gave it away, congrats to C.H. III
