injury
Gary,
Question about injury.
Say a player is injured during a match.
Can you outline the procedures for determining the match under conditions such as:
a) player injures himself while executing a stroke;
b) player is injured by competitor, either accidentally or otherwise;
c) the match is even; or the match hasn't finished the first hole yet;
d) player is injured by an outside agency, perhaps a large animal;
e) player is struck by lightning;
f) player is struck by errant golf ball and can't continue

Rule 33-7 gives the Committee the power to waive a penalty of disqualification in exceptional individual cases.
There are many examples of this being applied to ill health or injury, especially on the Senior Tour.
