Using a Shim ...
I am looking @ a Ping G5 as my next driver. This will be the 1st driver I've used that takes a shaft w/ a .350 tip diameter. I have several .335 shafts at home already, one of which I would like to put into the G5.
I know the you can use a brass shim to make the .335 fit into the .350, I was just wondering if any of the clubmakers could tell me if there are any downsides to using a shim as opposed to going out and buying a .350 shaft.

No problem there Nat... Been there and done it. I had a G5 that I used a shim in and never experienced any problems.. go for it.
Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing, ... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...
