    The Phoenix Open Fantasy Golf

    FBR my butt, it's the Phoenix.

    Immelman really laid up an egg, didn't he. Screwed me over pretty good. Mickelson might miss the cut. And JB Holmes, my gosh, double bogeyed his 17th hole and now might miss the cut, after an otherwise great round.

    I have CH3, who is pretty much the most consistent player on the tour right now. Weir, Singh and Wetterich round out my team.

    3 missing the cut does not make me happy.

    Jesper-former winner-he can't miss 3 cuts in a row(yes he can)
    Charley Hoffman-continue his hot streak-not a good 2nd round
    Justin Rose-still hasn't finished his round so God willing he makes the cut.

    I got killed by trying to make a big jump in the standings. So much for picking guys who seemed to be playing well: KJ Choi (gone); Calc (addios), and Buckle (folded up like a cheap chair). Pretty soon I'll write to the boys on the tour and ask them to send me their old clubs in consideration of my not picking them in the weekly pool. Getting picked by me is the equivalent of being touched by the plague. They don't need the grief and imagine all the clubs that I could sell to Geoff.

    I thought I was doomed and ended up shooting up the overall list. A lot of people had bad weeks. I don't think anyone had all 7 picks make the cut.
