Price Point on the D2?
This may have already been covered but I don't see a post... Anyone know what the price point will be on the D2's (shipping in April apparently)?
Looking for a 460cc driver, and the 905R was a bust for me, hoping this one is impressive.NCGT Ryder Cup Team Green (06,07,08)

My guess is they will be inline with their previous lines.. 399.99. Just a guess.. Although the new Nike Nikes are 499.. The square Callaway is 599 and the FT5 is 499...

It's in the new Sports Illustrated, $500 US. Looks wild.

Should be $499, and from the sounds of them they are very nice. I might order a D2, we'll see what shapes up this spring.

Lance, related to our earlier Cobra discussion, there's officially no hosel sleeve in the new 907D's. Clubmakers rejoice!!
When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

For those of us non-clubmakers....what exactly does that mean? Or do I even care as a non-clubmaker?

Jon.. It just means that reshafting will be easier.. The 905T and S (and I think R) had an aluminum hosel sleeve which made changing the shaft yourself difficult. The idea was that you would have to send it back to Titleist for any reshafting.. Of course ppl found ways around that but regardless it was a but of a pain.
