Did anyone see how much that thing is going for? Is it even for sale or is it Scotty's? Anyone have enough skill to make one (with other putter heads?)?

well its made from 20ish GSS newport heads at $5000 a peice... figure around $100,000 if not more

I don't think it was for sale, and Scotty gave it to Jim Butler of Table Rock. If it was, it'd probably be in the $10-30K range. Not too difficult to do something similar if you're a welder or know one.

those heads are worth 5k each, and i counted at least 16 of them... definatly more than $30k... if it was just regular newport heads id say 10k. if it was SSS heads id say 30k

I hear you, but I'm guessing they're not worth as much in the sculpture as they are at the end of a shaft. I don't think they're gss heads either, despite what I was told.

They look like Stainless Studio heads to me..

They're stamped as SS Prototypes on the sole, and I just don't see that happening on a gss head. Kelly Butler was the one that told me they were gss heads, what does she know, hahaha.

I am very aware of the statue.. your preaching to the choir.. If you look closely at the heads.. they all look like stainless studio heads.. as far as the sole markings go. I have never seen a GSS with OTR stainless studio markings..
