Maybe it is just me, but I think Polls should have their own forum.

Well, because mostly they are targeted at a specific topic. Or maybe, because they just annoy me everytime I open up the forum, they always pop to the top as unread whenever someone votes.
Of course, it still doesn't stop me from voting

I'm of two minds on this one - I agree that it is a little annoying to have the poll threads show up as un-read everytime someone casts a vote, but I'd also like them to continue to be posted in the forum that best represents their subject matter.
Dan - is it possible to tweak things so that poll threads don't get marked as unread when someone simply responds to the poll question (as opposed to when then actually post a response)?
