Getting my coat back
Ya, ya, ya....to anyone is laughing at this...shut up...I know i'm an idiot. I'm looking at you Indio. Anyway, I went to the club tonight (turning 21 on sunday...night one of three..can't see the balance of my wallet, let alone my bank account). I knew I would lose my coat, cuz i'm a drunken idiot, so instead of taking my new, expensive, nice soft shell, I took my cheap fleece. Anyway, needless to say, I'm wasted, and managed to lose my coat check ticket. I'm SURE a lot of people on this forum have done this before...(don't pretend you're so perfect ). Any suggestions for getting it back? Just pester them until i get it? Or give up on the 40 dollar coat, and spend my time going after the chick?

You should be able to get your coat back. Try phoning during the day and explain your problem the management of the establishment.
This was policy at the bar that I worked at years ago.Back at it.

LOL... ive done that before! twice!!
just call the manager of the bar and tell them you lost your ticket, the coat has been sitting there all night no one has claimed it and they will give it to you...
ive gotten to point where i just dont wear coats to any bar or club now much easier that way...
PS an early happy bday... i just tuned 21 too, you get to feeling so old! i wonder how indio must feel at his age

back in my day we all wore suits to bars and the ladies all wore dresses, not like todays punks that go in their jeans and a t-shirt. all us men wore overcoats with our suits and we gently placed them on the back of the seat we were sitting at, and relaxed and had a nice cold brue.. we didnt have these things you call coat check at bars back in my day, your coat stayed all night on the back of your chair. and it never disapeard, no one stole back in the day. not like today where you leave a quarter in your cup holder and the guy that takes you car for an oil change steals it...

Why does this not surprise me that Junior would have to have done it twice before he learned not to do it again
Junior, why do you paint targets on your forehead all the time?
Junior, if you are feeling old at 21, you are in a load of trouble....

Somehow comparing my 'intelligence' or lack their of to Junior, would seem to be unfair. After all, he is edumacated......
Ummmmmm, at my advanced age it is impossible for me to remember something so INSIGNIFICANT. I do remember leaving my dentures and hearing aid at the widow Murphey's last Tuesday though

OK, if it wasn't for the spulling mistokes I would ask who was writing this! Junior, just a couple of questions?
1. do you mean you only had one 'day' back then?
2. Define 'young punks'
3. Define 'men'
4. what type of 'suit' did you wear?
5. Whats a 'brue'?
6. No one stole back in the day of what?
7. why do you let a guy take you car for an oil change are you to lazy?
That target on your forehead is expanding in size Junior
