Shaft Extensions
I am looking to extend my irons by 1/2 an inch, I am curious what typically gets used by the clubmakers on the forum.
I have used plastic and aluminum.
The plastic was so much lighter than the aluminum. I weighed the aluminum at over 30grams. The steel extensions i have not weighed.
Wouldn't it make more sense to use plastic and keep the weight down.
Thanks,
Stephen

I have used ready made extensions but prefer the aluminum ones.
I also use , much more often a piece of cut off shaft butt as they are easier to obtain a good fit
have also use wooden dowel when in a pinch
