COr. Measuring device.
Some weeks ago I was sent a link for a macine/device that measured the cor of the driver head. It tested whether or not the driver had lost its spring face effect. I lost the link, anyone out there seen it.

Hi Big Chief
It is exactly what I am looking for, now where can we get one. I have seen it on the usga site but only on offer to certain members. Has anyone seen one for commercial usage.
When the highest reading is obtained via the pendalum, hey presto, the difinative sweetspot is located. Checking customers drivers for trampoline effect and uncovering hairline cracks, where to lead tape for cog lowering or highering, etc, etc, the possabilities are endless.

Tom Wishon's reply "The actual CT testing device as ordained by the USGA costs $7500. Then you have to pay the USGA a licensing fee of $1500 to be able to buy and use one of these things. I remember back in the winter of 01-02 that my engineering consultant/mentor Art was also consulting for the USGA on their project of converting from the air cannon COR testing rig to the CT machine. During this time I learned a lot about the methodology of the CT manner of testing for face compliance - thus from that I see the thing that you guys are talking about as being pure bunk from the standpoint of being able to gauge the COR/CT of a face."
