from what i hear kevin does good work...

so you cant just start a thread like that and not tell us anything...

what putter did u send? what finish?

i have sent several putters to putterplating and have been more than satisfied each and every time. Kevin does some great work and is a very personable guy.

I could tell you.....but then i would have to kill you.
Getting a head done in satin nickel with some custom work and milling done.
Thats all i can say at the moment

Please tell me you didn't send that KJ Choi putter to have that done to it.

That putter was beautiful the way it was.

There are no nicks in it,custom engraving,milled face,and the satin nickel finish.

i got my cameron with the satin nickel finish and it is a beauty finish, hard on the eyes in the sun sometimes if you don't have sunglasses!! I will try and post some pics later so you can see the finish

So when do you expect to get it back? I'm looking forward to seeing the results because I have a Cleveland TA Milled putter that could definitely use some TLC.

i can show you some pics of my putter, cause i got the satin nickel finish from putterplating as well.

I shipped it out a couple of weeks ago,so i should hear from them any day now.

This thread has got me thinking...Maybe instead of dreaming of the scotty I can't afford, I can send him my scotty TeI3 knockoff to get refinished. I wonder if he can fill in existing lettering so I don't have to be reminded with every put that I'm playing a crappy knockoff.

Wow. That did not take long. Got a response to my email within 5 minutes. For those who are interested, I was told that they can weld over current engravings. This is going to be a fun project.

Thats pretty sweet... Yours looks more chrome like than the Nickel finish putter on the site, did you ask for it to be like that or is that how it came back?

to be honest, i bought it off of someone after the finish was done. I was told that it was the nickel finish.

It was at the engravers 3 weeks ago so it must be almost ready.

I'd imagine so, unless you're doing a tribute to Geoff and having his entire iTrader history engraved on the putter, but I guess you'd need a mallet for that.
