    Determining bounce

I have a couple of wedges that I hit pretty well, but I would like to upgrade to some clevelands to match my set. The problem is, the clubs I have are no names (Orbiter, if you must ask ) and I can't find any information on the internet about them. I would really like to know what the bounce is on them before I replace them (I don't want to mess with a good thing). Is there any way to measure the bounce, or will I have to take them to a clubfitter or golf shop to get it checked out. Thanks for any info.

Do you know the calculation Andre? According to the picture the bounce on that wedge is 40*..

Measure the loft of the wedge in the playing position and then subtract the reading you get from the guage. EX: 54*-40*= 14*= bounce angle

You don't need this guage to measure the bounce angle. If you own a quality lie and loft angle guage, measure the club's loft in the square position, then turn the head towards the inside, or shut the face until the leading edge touches the flat surface. Take another measurment. This performs the exact same function as using the bounce guage. Subtract the shut down # from the square one. You now have your bounce angle.
