Everthing will be out in the open by next week. But in the mean time, its fun to see what everyone has to say. Keep it going.

I hate to say this because you will all think its a rumour again but here I go: I was just informed by a friend lawyer that M. Lacasse in person just called him 5 minutes ago telling him that it’s a done deal and if they still wanted keep there tournament booking for 2007.
Strive for perfection, but never expect it!

I heard this as well but didn't want to post because its heresay, and I believe Mr. Lacasse is still bound by a confidentiality agreement.
I think we may have a friend in common, mberube!Andrew

It’s hard to keep that agreement (if there is one at this point) when he is personally calling all his 2007 tournaments bookings and asking them if they are keeping their engagements for 2007? This is to give CL an official tourney list.

i maybe wrong, but was it not mentioned in a previous post that Mr. Lacasse signed an NDA? (its hard to look through 191 posts of blabber to find info)
I dont see how this would be possible... if someone signs a NDA (non-disclosure agrement), they are bound by law to not mention it to anyone... then why call this person and tell them its a done deal if he is not to mention it to anyone until CL officially releases the news to the press.... maybe i am missing something here...

The agreement may have been until it was signed. They may have a joint press release also, or Clublink may have asked for the rights. If they are calling the tournaments then I should here something soon because NCGT has an event planned for EC in June...

The apparent source is one of Mr. Lacasse's lawyers, who are privy to such confidential information. HOWEVER, this lawyer should not be blabbing to his/her friends about the details.
I'm sure the Law Society of Upper Canada would be pretty upset if these sorts of details were leaked by one of their members. But hey, i'm not complaining!!

Hmmm, this may have been proven prophetic in 2004...

It's bad enough the public golfers lose courses to CL, but is that really nessesary? Comments like that are part of the problem. When CL members rub our noses in it, it is an attitude that I personally resent. I have seen it before in this forum and I for one do not like it.

I make an offer to all of those I already dealt with, and that means a lot of OG members , if you want to play EC and you are required to play with a member (I doubt it will be a requirement for the first year though), then let me know....
