Indy-Chicago SuperBowl
my numbers have Chicago 5.98 over New Orleans
and Indy 6.93 over New England
today, I would have Indy 7.84 over Chicago in the SuperBowl.

No way Peyton will ever make it to the big game. He's a choker. Not to mention, the Pats have his number in the post-season. Grossman looked pretty good today, but New Orleans is one of those teams of destiny. I think they will beat Chicago on the strength of their offence...and their much maligned secondary will come up with its best outing of the year.

Super Bowl Finalists
Saints vs Pats in Miami. Saints have that special thing - destiny - that will carry them past the Bears. Pats will take Indy, as said in the other thread, Pats just seem to find a way to win, and I don't think Manning has it, yet.
1 for 4 last week, this week will be better

huh? How could you pick Pats vs. Ravens in the Superbowl (especially when they are in the same Conference, and you picked the Ravens on Sunday after they had been beaten by the Colts on Saturday. The 4 for 4? Did I miss something?
It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

I like the Saints over the Bears. I'd like them alot more if it was in NO, but I unless the Bears D steps it up to their early season form, Brees will slowly pick away at them. Grossman looked good this weekend, but they still just snuck by a battered and ugly looking Hawks team that just didn't deserve to go any further (IMO).
Pats, all the way. Yes, the bolts gave that game away over and over, but Brady did what needed to be done, when it needed to be done. They keep Freeney from Brady and he'll sit there and pick away 5 yards at a time till they make a coverage mistake deep. This is not going to be Mannings year.Let's put a Smile on that Face!

Given my perfect record this past weekend, I am really pushing my luck in trying to predicate the outcome of next weekend's games, but I've never been timid. Here goes: Patriots over the Colts (even I'm wrong, I'll still have a team that I can root for in the Super Bowl) and da Bears over destiny's team, the Saints. They may be Saints, but they don't walk on water (one could make a case for the Patriots doing just that, but that is another matter).
If I'm right, then the Super Bowl will feature the Patriots and the Bears, two teams that know how to work for their supper. In this battle of the lunchpail brigades, I just have to go with my heart - the Patriots.

I'll take the Saints and the Pats.

MO money is on Indy this year, over Chicago. Chicago will win on the strength of their D, and Indy on Peyton's arm. New England is outmanned this year.

You may be right about the Pats being outmanned, but the fact is that they find a way to win. Oftentimes it can be ugly, but it's always exciting, unpredictable and done with gusto. Their quaterback always gives them a chance to win. Now there's a guy who would always go for a par 5 in two.

Hey I agree Tom Brady is the 2nd coming of Joe Montana. He plays huge in the big game but we'll see this week, and if Rodney Harison is out look for the Colts to exploit the secondary. They'll even pick on Asante Samuel.
