2 Titleist Questions... We're going into the Hossel!

#1 - I'm eying up a 905R, but haven't found anything with a shaft setup that is to my liking. I like to pretend I hit it far and therefor want an X in there. My question is, would a pull from a 983E slip into a 905R?

#2 - I've got a PT-13 bore-thru and its currently fitted with a S300. I want to stiffen this one up a bit, with either a X100 (or similar) or something in graphite. The problem is that if I remember correctly, this thing has some weird tip size like .295 and I don't see many of those kicking around. Anyone know who makes shafts in that tip, cant be many eh?

The only prob with the shaft swap from the E to the R is the alum. hosel on the R.. I believe golfworks has them though.. Not 100% sure. Don at artisan will also do this swap. Otherwise both are .335

Keep an eye on Ebay.com, they had a 905R with an Accra SC 70 M5, it would be a cannon! Also Golfwrx seems to have lots with x flex shafts.

I've got a Penley ETA Tour in my 983E that I can just have swapped in if I find a deal on an R.

there are some guys on tcc selling 905R's very cheap etm if you haven't already got one in your sights

I don't really have anything in my sights, and I'm not really in any rush to buy considering the white stuff on the ground outside. What's the TCC ?

Cool, I'll take a look. Gonna focus on new shoes first then probably start on another driver. Still not sure I'm going with an R, but its up near the top of the list.

fyi the 905R's have not been moving (the ones scotty posted) so you could probably get 180 shipped
