That top right pic makes it look like a hook machine.

If you look at the 2nd pic and line up the shaft parallel to the wood tile it will be a closed face driver. Put me in line and bye bye right side.

Not much difference
TM are excellent at marketing, first the quad, then the face gets bigger, hence the 425, then the 460 but only 2 ports. Then the R7 Draw, kinda like a modified version of the R5TP. I guess no one saw this 460 Quad coming The look is phenomenal and as soon as they put out the non TP version, I will buy one! I have the 425 now but a larger head with 4 ports sounds more forgiving too me.

Huh
I would be very surprised to see it as limited, once it gets out there the public (me included) will be screaming to get one. They will make the big bucks off the limited edition then announce "by public demand" a non TP version. Funny, the TM reps told me a while back that the best results with adjusting weights were with a smaller head size no bigger than 425 which to me meant that the quad could not go to 460 size. Now, here it is. Kind funny, not funny ha ha, but funny funny.

For the 2007 golf digest hot list the r7 superquad that they tested was a non TP version. So i do not think that it would be a limited edition driver. Here is the link http://www.golfdigest.com/flash/hotlist/

That's retail you can already get them for 650$ on wrx.com and they are continually dropping. By summertime they will be 500$ i bet.

I was at Golftown in Ottawa today and they had the new limited edition superquad. The all black looks great, although to me the face did look a bit closed. Perhaps this is some form of optical illusion due to the coloring, from what I have read on the net, they are supposed to be one degree open. They have apparently sold one and have at least two left, one 9.5 and one 10.5. It is a great looking club.

They will probably come out with a SuperQuad, meaning that it will be 4 moveable weights in a 460 cc head. However, I would not be surprised if it's not available in the black edition. I would imagine that is for the TP edition only.
I agree with Michael though. The head does look a little closed. I've seen a few models and they all look like that, so I would bet it's more an illusion with the black face.

Saw this bad boy at GT in Montreal on Friday. What a SWEET looking club. They won't let you hit it. I asked... They said probably in a couple of months, but that they would tape the entire head before letting anyone take a rip. Sure felt sweet to hold on to. Price is as previously noted $950. Not in this lifetime I think.
