Hurry Up Scotty Nuts
Ijust came across this and the auction ends soo. Although right now there are no bids on it, you might be able to contact the seller after the auction ends and make a deal
If was not thinking about retiring I might be all over this one! Then again, maybe not!

Is there a way to find out how much those collectibles are actually worth? Like a blue book value type thing?

So, was this guy off his rocker for asking that much or was he in the right ballpark (in your opinions)?

Depends. I am not that up on it, but certain putters do go for that kind of coin. I think the record is $35k US

The best way is searching the completed auctions on ebay. For the really unique stuff that never hits the market, nobody truly knows. You might know what it went for last time, but limited supply (like limited volume on the markets) really can jump the price up and down. Something that's worth $2G one day might be worth $3G to someone who really wants it when it next becomes available. And vice versa. There's a 'hand drawn' SC cover on ebay right now at $1800US that's basically a glorified autograph. Put up another time it might only have been $500 or even less.

This one couldn't get any action at $10.5 a couple weeks ago. Interesting that it was $3K when released 10 years ago.

You know the sad thing about this auction? Someone who works for minimum wages would only make about that much money in a year. Now that is just sad when you think about it. Not that a person making minimum wages would buy it, but it is still kind of sad that someone has that much money to toss at one putter.
My god it is a putter. Nothing more, nothing less. I am glad it did not sell.My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

And a first run Mickey Mantle baseball card is just a piece of cardboard.
