    Myrtle...leaving TODAY...

So I'm leaving for Myrtle today at about 6pm. get there and gives us 3 days to relax, shop, and warm up our game.

Golf starts on Sunday at the following courses....anyone plated these? What are they like? Las few years we've done the Masters package so it's time for a little change.

JAN. 7th - Shaftsbury Glenn(not sure which course)
    JAN. 8th - Prestwick
    JAN. 9th - Brunswick Plantation
    JAN. 10th - Farmstead
    JAN. 11th - Meadowlands
JAN.12TH - Shaftsbury Glenn (not sure which course)

ANd 1st week of January is the PERFECT time to go...weather is 18-20, courses are empty...packages are cheap. This one includes hotel, breakfast, carts and a gofl gif t(usually a towel or golf shirt) is only $340US

You have a good line-up with Prestwick, Farmstead (#18 is a Par 6)and Shaftesbury Glen (they only have 18 holes so there is only 1 course) being your top courses in your line-up. Brunswick and Meadowlands are good average courses. Have a great trip!

I hate you!!!!! O.K. I am jealous of you is actually closer to the truth but hey have a great time. Some of those courses have a good deal of water on them so you might want to bring 2 balls with you , Indio leave that thought in your mind

Got to your thread too late to comment. Hope you will give us a de-brief upon your return. Weather looks great.

We played Prestwick last year and chose not to return this year. Course was un-remarkable, but ran into a marshall. Hard to believe you can have a bad day doing that job.

Our group usually goes just after Easter and is always looking for new places to try.
