Yes one of the launch monitors has two cameras taking pictures (2 pictures) to read the spin of the ball off of the clubhead.

If your talking about the zelocity which uses doppler radar, I would have to go with the vector cause it takes spin,speed and trajectory into the equation. It would have to be more accurate. Although you will have to have very deep pockets to purchase one.

If you would like a monitor for outside or hitting into a net I would advise getting a purecontact monitor off of E'bay. If your not in a rush and bid about 190 canadian each time one comes up I think you may be able to win one, and probably get it a little cheaper. I won two of them, I paid 137.50 for one and 175.65 for the second one (U.S.dollars). I sold the second one to one of the guys I'm giving lessons to for 165.00.
