I like the look and price of that Myrtle trip, and flying there is right up my alley (that drive sucks the life out of me).

There's also Ocean City and Virginia Beach to consider. I really have the itch and I have the vacation time to take.

Suggestions? Useful links? Interested parties? Hey, maybe if we get a group, we can rent a bus to drive us down (and pick up Ironmaster on the way).

Wusses! Myrtle Beach is exactly 16hrs driving time from Ottawa. With 4 guys you only have to drive 4hrs each to get there. You can leave in the afternoon, drive through the night, and get there early in the morning for your first round. Get back to the condo, have a nap, and you are ready for some "refreshments"!

Normally 5 minutes is my limit, but I can step it up when a golf trip is involved!
My wife and I have done the straight through drive a few times through the night and I was able to golf that morning. However that evening I was not a big ball of energy. But with 4 guys you can get more sleep while driving.
The problem with flying to Myrtle is the lack of service from here. If you have to go to Syracuse or such to get a plane, it is hardly worth it at that point to fly.
