    shipping clubs

Picked up a couple clubs today at GT, and I've got to get them out to BC. Not sure if I will ship them, or take them on the plane with me....depends how many pieces of luggage I end up having. Anyway, I've never shipped clubs, and I was wondering if anybody has advice on the best way to pack them. I was thinking of just putting them in a box filled with styrofoam worms, but I don't know whether that will be enough protection. Any thoughts from all you ho's out there?

Ya, I'm leaning towards a layer or two of bubble wrap around each club, followed by foam worms. I really don't trust Air Canada.

How much will they charge you? You might want to consider Fedex ground.

I'm going to give them a call, but I'm pretty sure that if it's my second piece of checked baggage when I fly out there, it will be free of charge.

It's definitely free as a second piece of checked luggage. You might want to consider using some newspaper to pack with as well. Crumpled newspaper will keep the clubs in place better than styrofoam noodles, keep them from moving around and banging into each other. I really liked the Hogan fws I had, nice pick up!
