Uranium Market Correction
Nice little market correction over the past couple of days. I sold some GEM at 1.35 and bought back in at a 1.15 today, feel pretty good about that. FNI is holding steady which is a good thing. LV was dragged down by folks cashing in their warrants, that always hurts a stock price but it'll rebound (I bought more at 1.64). Ditem is starting their marketing campaign later this month. I sold at .68 and bought back in at .58.
As for Connacher, it's being dragged down by the 2 year low in oil prices. I'm still bullish on this one and at 3.10, what a deal.Donny Vantage NFL Guru, since 1974

From donny himself : his take on ENM
"I think eventually it'll do a reverse split, but before that it'll hit double, at the very least"
I asked him this already today

Nice late afternoon for FNI! Still baffled by GEM. So, this is what I did today...
Bought up more GEM at 1.22 a share. Bought more LV for 1.69 a share. I noticed that ENM's volume is extremely low, but I'm not worried about it. Once they start making waves and announce their financials, volume will pick up.
Acadian Gold (ADA) is my next one. I already bought a ton of shares. A ton of analysts are really bullish on this one and the stock went up to 1.30 when the recommendations came out, but now it's back to normal. Rule of thumb, whenever a stock is publicly recommended, DO NOT buy it for at least a week to give it chance to come back down to earth. You don't want to buy it too expensive. Anyway, it's a gold company, but in the next month or two their zinc operation will be starting up. Zinc and Nickel are the two big metals for 2007, and this company will make big gains in 2007. So, as of right now, I'm highly recommending you buy it up!!! If you don't make at least a 100% return this year, I'll eat my slippers.Donny Vantage NFL Guru, since 1974

How do you guys feel about this article?
http://www.cbc.ca/money/story/2007/01/19/commodities.html
The torrid pace of commodity price increases that's been a hallmark of the last four years is likely over, BMO Financial Group forecasts in its latest outlook.
Bank economists predict that their commodity price index will drop four per cent in 2007. That's a "small step back" to an astonishing bull run that has seen its basket of commodities rise by an average of 18 per cent annually since 2003.
"Looking ahead to 2007, the outlook for commodity prices is mixed," said BMO assistant chief economist Earl Sweet.
He said volatility "is likely to remain high in 2007 as hedge and other funds continue to exert a significant influence in the commodity markets."
BMO's forecast calls for crude oil to average $57 US a barrel in 2007. "Notwithstanding a sharp decline in oil prices during the first half of January, we expect market conditions to tighten during the second half of the year," said Sweet.
BMO also expects average natural gas prices to fall slightly from 2006 levels as inventories remain high, but to likely rebound in the second half of the year.
The metals and minerals index — which rose almost 50 per cent in 2006 as nickel, zinc, copper and aluminum all enjoyed substantial price increases — is forecast to remain relatively flat in 2007. BMO's forecast predicts that average prices of nickel and zinc in 2007 are likely to rise over last year, while copper and aluminum should ease.
The forest products sector is expected to have another tough year, as the smaller number of housing starts in North America cuts into lumber demand.
But agricultural prices are expected to advance further in 2007, BMO said. "The agricultural index is anticipated to advance by 3.5 per cent — extending a 10 per cent gain in 2006 — before easing in 2008 as current high prices and more normal growing conditions elicit higher output," Sweet said.

I could be wrong but...
I assume the FNI & GEM decrease of late is people FINALLY taking big profits. It's been rising hardcore since Nov so lots of people are just like ok i've made $0.85 a share tme to cash out.
Anyone agree, disagree?

It's been intersting since Donny left.
Gem - Going UNDER 1$ then slumming it up around 1.10 forever. Glad that is over.
ADA - Going under 94 cents. That was kinda creepy. Glad it's back ~1.10
FNI - Down to 78 cents. That really stunk. It's back to 90 which is ok.
ENM - Massive jump from .55 - .76 now back to .66.
Sprott bought 1.3 million shares of ENM 1 day b4 press release @ .61 I'm assuming sold 1 day after... @ .76 Thats big $$$$$$$

Energem got halted today. Issuing some warrants. The worst is over for them, nothing but good to come.
By the way, Acadian Gold, still a strong buy in my opinion.Donny Vantage NFL Guru, since 1974

:: Wipes away Tear ::
Roca is finally becoming the stock it was destined to be. Good action over last little while and about time. Some of us watched it go as low as 1.28!
Whats up with GEM and / or FNI!?
They are stagnating in this weird patern but no real moves.

What's the deal with LV? Any insight on this stock?
-

From Donny (he can't post at his offce): GEM and FNI have had their major boost since I've recommended them. The growth is going to slow down now, but they'll still grow. You can take your profit out now and enjoy!
Roca has no news today, I don't know what's driving up the price. The mine will be operational in mid-late spring from what I hear and that's when the price will hit between 3 and 5 dollars a share.
LV, what a frustrating puppy this one is! I was on the phone with them this morning and because it's a on the Venture exchange, their financials won't be out until late April/early May. Until then the stock is going to continue to go up and down like a yoyo. It's a great, yes, GREAT, long term investment if you can handle the fluctuations.
Right now, I'm looking at a few more that I'm probably going to jump into in March. Strathmore Minerals (if it comes down below $4.50 again), Powertech Uranium (below $4 only), Bayswater Uranium, and if GEM comes back to a buck I'll buy more. ENM is also a big bull of mine!

Wishing I sold ROK today at 1.70 only to rebuy when it goes to about 155 or so in the next few days.
For those that thought FNI was worth more than $1 it's been a pain staking few weeks of watching it steadily decline. I believe if you are still holding it's because a) youwere on vacation or b) your too stubborn to sell and this time it paid off. It was scary when it hit .78

I think short term dH, ADA's new mine will be up and running before Roca's. Sell ROK, buy ADA, then sell ADA when the stock doubles, buy ROK (around the 1.50 range), and it will double.
