oh oh
someone just told me that the winning teams in the first round are to be put in order of regular season for second round and highest sead will always play the lowest seads. If this is a fact then, we will have to do this round by round.

correct
I tried to take that into account when I did my picks but since we're doing it round by round, I'll edit my above post.

No you don't
Steve:
Have guys just make their picks for the whole Stanley Cup race.
They just have to take into account what their picks are, then figure out as per their picks who plays who, and go from there.
i.e
If someone takes Ottawa, Bos, Wash & Tor to win the 1st round, then Ottawa would play Boston, they pick the next round as per those series's and teams left.
It does not have to be round by round. One suggestion is have the point values rise as rounds go on. 1,2,3, & 4 for the final.

Colby-
I guess that Colorado won't be making it to the finals!
Steve-
Don't I get a bonus point for saying "Detroit in 4"?
Here's hoping that Ottawa takes Phily in 6!

It was nice to see Vancouver play to there potential. Bertuzzi had a few bone rattlin' checks which was sweet. Hopefully it continues...

good chance for our Sens
geez... after round 1, some of these teams really took a beating! I agree with you there fireice that Bertuzzi gave some crazy checks.
Seeing that most of the "highly skilled" teams had long series', they must be worn down a bit. That could open the door for the Sens who have had a good rest..... and knowing the good coaching, they should be well prepared.
Go Sens Go!!

It was nice to see the Sens bounce back from a terrible 1st period. Lalime made some timely saves and a nice check in the third. Go Sens Go.
Regarding the Jersey/Tampa series is it me or was game 1 possibly the most boring game remind me not to watch tonight.
