    One of my favorite webpages

I must say I am very impressed with the site of myOstrich golf.

In addition to all of the goodies, they have spreadsheets which you can use to choose a shaft, to calculate swingweight, or to chart a cpm frequency profile.

If I lived in the States, I would buy a set of iMatch SL - Single Length Irons

Tim Hewitt is the owner and a very knowledgeable clubmaker. You could still purchase a set of Single lengths irons even though he is in the States. You could ask him to send them via USPS express post.

I am worried about how much customs and duties would be. The border between the U.S. and Canada is ridiculous. I voted with my feet, and moved to Canada in July of 2001. I hope to attain my Canadian citizenship early in 2007.

I have spoken to Tim about that before and believe me Tim has a lot of experience in INTL shipping. Just as long as you don't use FEDEX or UPS then the custom charges if any will be very minimal. I recently ordered a driver head from California via USPS Global. The head came directly to my door within 3 days with no charges whatsoever.

Tim Hewitt is one of the best. I have ordered stuff from him on many occaisions

His web site is great and has all sorts of very useful information as stated and also lists things like hosel depth and BBGM of heads....

Tim will ship USPS to Canada, he prefers to use a service that is insured and will not declare an item as lower than its value to assist with customs.

The fastest but priciest USPS method is global express.......customs seems to be hit or miss with tax and fees.......

I know the handling fee jumped from 5 - 8$ and they generally add the pst and gst on top of the converted value.....

In the end , even with conversion, it can still be cheaper to order from MyOstrich than from up here....

If you are a member of forums he sponsors....like FGI ( my main hang out) you can get an additional 10% discount off the total price ( including shipping)

Thanks, that's great to know, as I subscribed to FGI right after subscribing here. I also subscribed to the Tom Wishon forum.
