Putting style
These days, the gurus of putt are peddling the long hanging arms putting stroke of Phil Mickelson and Steve Jones, but in the days of yore, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Billy Casper all had wristy strokes.
I find that if I use my arms and shoulders for the putt, I have a much more difficult time with distance than when I use my lower arms and wrists. In fact, I am able to concentrate on distance much more if I set up like Jack with my eyes behind the ball looking down the target line, which also lets me see the line more accurately.
Just wonder what your thoughts are on the best putting styles of various players, and whether the wristy putting stroke is still an effective stroke.

Hy spidey, I am sure you have heard this phrase "if it is not broken don't fix it" This is very through to putting. If the balls goes in the hole do not change anything. Personally I much prefer a arms and shoulders putting style, the reason is under pressure the bigger mussle will perform more consistently.
If you putt better when you use your wrist it is because you are very much a feel player. Don't loose that.
