Eagle Creek
I'm not sure if anyone had seen this review of Eagle Creek from last year.
For the golfers that have never been there:

Eagle Creek is definitely a place to play. It has to be experienced by every golfer from the area... it's a nice course and one that was used for professional tournaments...

Tour quality
IMO, the top course in the area. No question in my mind that EC is "tour quality" that could host a PGA event with a few modifications.

Eagle Creek, great value, great course
I have to agree with everyone here. When was the last time anyone played a tour calibre (Canadian Tour albeit, but still) course for under $100 and not have to wait overnight for a tee time (Bethpaige Black course)!!! I think we're pretty spoiled out here in Ottawa, $65 to play a course like the Creek is a helluva deal. Granted, the lack of a clubhouse might be seen as somewhat detracting from the "experience", but when I pay a greens fee, it's to play a golf course, not sit around after a round and swill beers trying to look and talk like a "player" in some lavish clubhouse (although somewhere in this forum I've heard this is being remedied). I regard it as a demanding course, but with many opportunities to score i.e. reachable par 5's,a few shortish par 4's (even from the Gold's). It's a fair course that rewards quality golf shots, and punishes poor ones. What more could you want for under $100 with a cart to boot! Out of Ottawa'a "premium" courses, Eagle Creek is head and shoulders above the others.
Few things in life help you find sanity in the process of losing it. Golf is one of them.
