Stonebridge ups their rates
Does anyone else think that maybe Stonebridge has gotten a little greedy??? $65 prime time in the summer is pretty steep. You may as well go to EC or the Marshes for that price.
Even the $30 twilight is high.
Sigh....I guess I won't be out there much this year.

I remember when they tried that pricing when they were first going to open. I guess they figure they can make it now.
It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

My buddy who plays there lots will not be impressed, although he'll probably still go cause he loves Stonebridge. I'll wait for twilight.

Any of you know if the early morning fees have changed. It used to be a good deal... that's too bad.. I guess the best deal is the nine and dine at Marshes nowadays...

Nine and Dine?
Do you know if the Marshes is planning the nine and dine again this year? I didn't see it advertised on their web site.

I hate to admit it but we are spoiled here in Ottawa. $65 isn't really that bad. It's not great, but not bad. If you are like me you like to walk rather than ride a cart, I get bulk practice balls @ Stoney so it works otu to be cheap. No club house keeps their price down a bit.
In short, when you play stoney for $65, you pay for golf. When you go to Marshes, you get a cart (with GPS), unlimited practice balls and the experience of the club house for $110 (yes, it's 110 this year). Don't get me wrong, I love it. For every day golf though, I would rather just pay for the golf.
I will admit $65 is getting up there but I am likely to still play there.Ron

It's not much considering what you get. An amazingly designed course. IMO
We do have it pretty good here in Ottawa for prices.

Ottawa is very inexpensive for golf. Stonebridge at $65?? They're pushing it a little, but it's still ok since it's so close to the city.
I'm sure if you play enough you can do the multi-game packages to save some dough.
I agree EC is a steal. That golf course would be double in the GTA. Where else can you play a 7000 yard pro course for under $100.00 It's my favourite in the Ottawa area.
