Just an interesting FYI...

Last night on the Golf Channel, they had Jim Flick as a guest. He pointed out that based on current technologies, you should get the following results with a driver:

100 mph speed + inside/out swingpath + square clubface + sweet spot impact = 265 yards

The same swing with an open face of 2 degrees will result in nearly 40 yards lost.

Being that I work at an indoor golf centre here, and see a lot of high club head speeds with poor paths and impact, this just reinforces the importance of solid contact and proper path.
