Question for the scotty cameron collectors?

Seeing as Ive picked up a few scotty camerons over the last week that need some restoring and cant afford to send them all to the studio to get it done. Does anyone know a good person to see in the ottawa area that can do this for me?

    Thanks
    Knickers

P.S. nothern33, your putter is already beautiful and will be my gamer next year as it is.

I am not sure of anyone locally but here are some other places that refinish. May be cheaper than the studio, not sure never checked..

    http://www.putterplating.com/

Kevin Colbert used to do the refinishing for Cameron until they opened the custom shop.

There's another guy that does refinishing under the name of Geoputters, though I think he took his website down. He's in Ohio I think and is also on cameroncollector.com. He's especially good at putting non-standard finishes on putters (like an oil can finish on a circa, etc).

Depending on the putters you've picked up, I wouldn't spend too much on refinishing unless you have a sentimental attachment to them, or picked them up cheap. Off the rack Camerons aren't that collectable, though they are very nice putters and hold their resale value exceptionally well. Like scottycameron (OG user, not putter dude) says above, cameroncollector.com is a great site and full of information. There are more than a few of us ottawa folk that are members there.

Very nice phonzy. I checked out his site and looks like he does a great job. Think i'll send him my one of my newport midslants to be redone. My circa #3 will be going to SC and redone in proplatinum. and if i get the coronado that im bidding on ill be able to leave it alone as it was just redone by SC. Now just have to look for a tour putter or and real collection piece.

Damn golf addiction just got worse.
