what the government does with old computers
I was just wondering if anyone here works for the government. I was wondering this because I heard somewere that in about december they get new computers and stuff like that if they have not used up alot of there budget and that they just give away there old computers. I was wondering if this was true.

At one time they used to donate old computers to schools and such. However there were problems with licensing for software and confidential information on the hard drives. Now I understand they are sold as scrap.
