    Pro Soft Inserts

I just finished installing Pro Soft Inserts in my 3-4-5 irons, then regripped them. With the grips off I did a vibration test on one club with the insert installed, one without. Big difference in the amount of vibration that travels up the shaft to the butt of the shaft.
I could barely notice any vibration in the club with the Pro Soft.

The only reason I will not do all my irons is I went to midsize grips on the irons I installed the Pro Softs in. I want to play a couple of rounds to see if I like the bigger grips. Then I will do the rest of my irons.

For anyone with arthritis or joint pain I would highly recommend that you put the Pro Soft Inserts into your irons.

I should have put this in the first post. For those who do not know what Pro Soft Inserts are just follow this link.

I know one club builder who swears by these inserts. I tend to trust him.

I did the vibration test the HI TECH WAY. I took the grips off, lightly dropped the clubhead on the cement floor and felt the vibration in each shaft Like I said HI TECH!
Then once the grips were back on I did the same test with an iron containing the insert and one without. Held on to each and bumped them on the floor. I could tell the difference. I will install the inserts in the rest of my irons once I am sure I like the midsize grips.

OK my test is done on the Pro Soft Inserts. I played today, it was 3C when we teed off.
My 3-4-5 irons have the Pro Softs in, the rest of my irons do not. I could really tell the difference when hitting some shots with the long irons. No vibration at all in my hands. If you have hit forged irons on cold days you will know that you sometimes get some shots that tickle the fingers
So I am doing the rest of my irons this afternoon, put the Pro Softs in, regrip them. Good to go for tomorrow morning
