    3) And perhaps you don't do well under pressure, I know I don't, so it is possible you have a poor intersectional record, but I bet not the worst.

    So I'll say #1 is the lie. I have a feeling I'm wrong, but I choose 1.

    OK, I'll try...
    1. I've won 3 Provincial curling championships
    2. I've owned a Porsche 911 Carrera
    3. I've gone skydiving

This is an easy one, I think. I'll pick #2 as the lie. Knowing you, if you did own a Porshe I don't think you'd stop talking about it. I know I wouldn't.

    Geoff,

#1 is true. Used to play the trumpet in an inprovisational Jazz band & a concert band, and used t odo the rememberance day ceremonies. Also played classical guitar. Had a change of heart in OAC, and decided to persue computer programming.

#2 false. Thought this one might trick people. My best hole out was from 100 yards, and it was a fluke...I was in one of my 1st 10 games. Hit a nice tee shot to about 105 yards out, duffed it 5 yards, then jarred it for birdie lol. I have not holed out from more than 30 yards away since then (10 years ago!)

#3 true. I'm 2 for 12, and currently seeking an endorsement deal (i.e. pay me to join a club that you are competing against)

Interesting Nat, but I could see you being a musician. Don't know why, but I associate calmness with classical music, and like I said you have a very calm personality. What an about face though, from music to computer programming.

Bizzarly enough, not a scratch either time. One was very minor, but when I was hit while riding my bicycle I was catapulted up into the air and landed on my back with the bike on top of me (damn toeclips), but didn't suffer any ill effects.

Well I guess if any positive had to come of it, that would be it, no long term injuries. Good to hear.

I drove it for a couple of summers and then traded back to my Dad for a Toyota Forerunner - I has just gotten married so I didn't need the "Chick Magnet" factor anymore

......and I did win 3 Provincial Jr. Men's curling championships back in the day

For the record, the only way that you're getting me to jump out of a plane is if I'm already dead

    You didn't say Junior....

But I'm with you, why jump out of a perfectly good plane. I don't get it....

    Okay, here is my 3:
    1) Survived a live bombing run by Mig 21 jets.
    2) Was approached to try out for junior professional soccer team.
    3) Have visited 11 countries around the world so far.

    1) I believe this, the MiGs were NOT know for their accuracy but rather for the ease in which a pilot could fly them.
    2) I'm not sure what a Junior Professional soccer team is so I'll say this is the Lie!
    3) There are lots and lots of countries in the world and if #1 was indeed correct it would stand to reason that you would have visited a number of countries when in the forces...

    I'll start!

    1. I only have Siamese cats as pets and name them all Tammy
    2. I first met my hubby (Dan) as he heroically chased a purse snatcher
    3. I am related to a Canadian Olympic medalist

Carol, dan told me paid the guy to steal your purse and told hm not to run to fast so he could keep up in the chase

Wow, Richard, I like your version better than the real one. I think I’ll use it! It wasn’t my purse. I was just one of the people in the small crowd that formed when the chase ended. It was a year later when we were officially introduced to one another at a mutual friend’s party and months after that when we finally figured out we had seen each other before - on that day our paths crossed for the very first time.

I am not a military man. And yeah the MIGs were damned loud. They broke the sound barrier shortly after the bombing run. This was at the beginning of the Iran Iraq war and I lived in Abadan Iran. Iraq thought they could quickly cripple Iran and take most of its territory so they bomed my city first since it had the second largest oil refinery in the world at the time.

It was quite a surreal feeling, watching them flip over and drop their payload. I would not wish in on anyone.

#2 is true as well. I used to play defense when I was younger and was quite good. During a game of shinny on a back street a scout watched part of our game and invited a friend and I to try out for the junior soccer team to one of the local professional soccer teams. That was a mere 24 years ago though! I probably would not be able to dribble my way past a 5 year old now...
The lie would be #3. So far I have been to the U.S., Cuba, Dominican, Mexico, France, Greece, Iran, Japan and Indonesia. So including Canada, it makes 0 countries.

Some folks who know me personally going to think I'm full of it

    1. I was on a 4 x 100 relay sprint team that beat another high school team which had Glenroy Gilbert and Ken Lablanc (two future Olympians).

    2. My father came from the same hometown as Tiger Woods' mother.

    3. I caused "Richard" to post 3 nasty pictures of himself on this forum.

I know you practice a lot, & I think I recall you not accepting my offer of a drink when we played, so I'm going with 2. (Not to say you couldn't do it, with all that practice!)

Went 4 strokes up on opponite cause he bogied the hole.......3) False, I have only hit about 1.75 million golf balls in practice (O.K. it was kind of a sandbag question)

Not even during the Penguins' lean years or the Steelers' Superbowl victory?
