Two Truths and a Lie Game

Here's a fun little game to play. Basically, you say two truths about yourself and a lie.
The person below you guesses which is the lie, and then does the same.

    I'll start!

    1. I only have Siamese cats as pets and name them all Tammy
    2. I first met my hubby (Dan) as he heroically chased a purse snatcher
    3. I am related to a Canadian Olympic medalist

    1. I played high school football against former heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis
    2. I grew up on the same street as Ed Robertson of the Barenaked Ladies
    3. I went to school with Jill Hennessy of Crossing Jordan/Law and Order fame.

Nothing. Just researched them all and loks like they're all from the Toronto area so can't pinpoint which one's a lie.

So you played football against Lennox Lewis, cool. Did you get a chance to lay him out?

    OK, I'll try:

    1) Both my parents turned 50 this year.
    2) I own a retired race horse.
    3) I played junior hockey in my teens.

So by elimination, Jeff has never met a Bare Naked Lady.

Geoff does not own a horse.

    My turn:
    1) I photographed Prime Minister Trudeau
    2) I have holed a shot from 150 yards
    3) I was interviewed on CHRO by Kurt Stoodley

Well...he was 6'4", 240 lbs in Grade 10 playing Tailback. I was 5'10" 155 lbs playing defensive back. You do the math.

Back then, he was known by his nickname, Junior.

    Try again Mr. Kilbank.

I will say #2. I saw you on the A channel morning show earlier this year. And with your prowess on the golf course I'd say you have holed a shot from 150.

You must have meant #1, which is correct. I graduated HS in 77 and Trudeau finished his run in 79. I was still in training and I idolized Karsh.

#2 - was on Manderley S4 from 150 yards, behind the right hand bunker with a 7 wood.

#3 - the interview was back about 4 years ago. Kurt is cool.

Sooo, since it's not very outrageous to have 50 yr old parents (you're in your 20's) I'll go with "you can't skate".

Yup, meant #1 Dan, still trying to wake up.

And you are correct about the junior, although I can skate. I was approached by a few teams for tryouts, but seeing how much time it took up I decided to pass. But with me turning 30 this upcoming March, I usually get some weird looks from people when I tell them my parents are even 50 yet. Dad just turned in Sept and Mom's B-day was Sat. So believe it or not, I do actually own a horse, along with my GF and her mother. Cute little guy as well.

And if the interview was 4 yrs ago, who interviewed you this year on the morning show?

I still remember one hit. Our uniforms were blue, theirs were yellowy gold. Grass is green. All I could see after I hit him was green. It was very weird.

I could see you playing 6 instruments, why not. And the $76,000 would explain all the club hoing you do, so from process of elimination I say #1 is the lie. Only because no one likes chicken liver.

#3 I led my favourite football (soccer) team Southampton on the field as a mascot before a match against Newcastle United.

But you are probably forgetting about the kazoo! It is technically an instrument.

I bet you have only been hit by a car twice, either way, not too pleasant. So I'll say #2 is a lie. And btw, all very good and difficult choices.

Spot on I have indeed only been hit twice, once as a pedestrian, once while on my bicycle. No fooling you is there?

    Here we go:

#1 - Trained to become a professional classical musician.
#2 - Although I have no Aces, I own a claim to the ellusive stroke and distance birdie (i.e. 3 off the tee and finish with a birdie).
#3 - Owner of what may be the WORST intersectionals record in the area.

Was actually just taking a stab in the dark. All were good choices and made it difficult to pick. I just got lucky, but real lucky guessing you were only hit twice. Hope no chronic injuries came out of those accidents.
