How do you Care for Scotty with an Oil Can or Gun Blue Finish?

I've researched this on the web and on the Cameron Collector and I found many answers to this question, some which seemed to conflict with others. So, I wrote the good folks at the Cameron Studio and I got a response in less than 24 hrs. Here is a copy of their response for those who would like to know...

    Hi Scott,
We recommend 3 in 1 oil and baby oil only. Also, make sure you do not leave the putter in the head cover after your round as the headcover absorbs moisture easily. Bring your putter inside, take the head cover off and turn it inside out to let it dry over night. Oil the putter and even wrap the oil cloth or soft cloth around the head if you like. That should keep it from rusting. You can purchase a Cameron oil cloth at our on-line Studio Store under Accessories if it is in stock.
    Thanks!

There you have it, straight from Scotty's mouth (or at least someone that works for him)

I use baby oil for mine when its not in use but for a everyday use putter silicon spray works the best.. Give it a spray and wipe after every round and make sure the spray is 100% silicon.

    Hey ScottyC,

What is the brand name of the silicone spray that you use and where do you get it? Thanks

Its called Silicone Lubricant. Made by 3 and 1.. Comes in a Yellow Can and I got it at Canadian Tire in the same section as WD40.. btw do not put WD40 on your putter ever.
