Gasp....garble, *cough*, gasp...
It's official, I am the choke king
another decent start foiled
I think I've shot 90/91 five times in a row now. It's getting old...

You should try my proven technique of blowing up early in the round. Shoot 50-41 for 91. You'll find the stress greatly reduced - you never have a chance at the 80s!
Love that game.

You know what's worse? Shooting 80/81 five times in a row when you're trying to break 80.

Actually, breaking 80 is my goal this year lol. I usually put that out of reach the last couple holes on the front. Then I get back to stalking at least a half decent score until the last few holes where I blow it completely. Today I shot a 10 on the 17th and then doubled the last...

Well that's easy enugh. When you get to 98 (on whatever hole), pick up your ball and declare "It's my ball, and I'm going home".
You'll never shoot over 100 again.
Works well for getting into the 80's, or 70's, too. Nice short rounds, too. I can break 50 in under 50 minutes.

You aren't alone WW - last week I shot a 43 on the front at The Marshes , followed that up with a solid 55 back and then the very next day I opened with a 41 at Loch March which when added to the spiffy 52 I had on the back left me with a consistently inconsistent 93
Why does this game torture me so??

You sir are not a pro, don't play or practice everyday. Not as complicated as you thought I bet....

I wasn't concerned with choking though, just awful, pitiful play. And I do play almost everyday.
