Yikes-------------snow
Please, someone tell me that the Ottawa area also had some wet snow today I was watching TV, my dog was outside playing. Suddenly he jumps on the back door, his usual way of letting us know he wants in. I go to let him in, no wonder he wanted in. IT WAS SNOWING Of course it did not last long, nor did it stick on the ground. But this is way to early for snow in the BANANA BELT OF ONTARIO.
Oh well, the 3:48PM tee time today still looks good Just have to wear an extra layer! My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

We're supposed to get flurries today but they've been calling for them for the entire week and I haven't seen anything.

Well Dan that is exactly the same weather we had here yesterday. So guess what is coming your way now! Then again, it might go south of you.
I hope it misses you. It is way too early for this crap

Of course, some of us don't know where "here" is for you. I'm guessing snow belt: London - Owen Sound area.
And, the forecast is... Temperature falling to plus 6 this evening. Tonight: Cloudy periods. Low plus 1.
Next Wednesday is guessed to be +18. My clubs are still in the van!

I'm heading up to the Sudbury area to visit some family this weekend, just had a peak at the weather up there today. Partly cloudy. Light flurries.
The weekend looks a little better,

Playing Cherry Downs and Emerald Hills this weekend in GTA. Hope you keep the snow down south.

Rick (Golfbum) I am happy to tell you that I have not seen any snow up this way and none in the forecast, just rain!!! The rain sucks, but the snow sucks even worse, still hoping to get a few games in on my days off, when the courses are nice and quiet!!!!

It was cold out there today. There was a bit of snow for a couple of holes, well sleet really. Ice pellets. 20 km winds, gusts of 35km. Not a lot of sun. OK, I found my limit. My hands are still numb after 1 hour since we got off the course.
Thanks Golfbum.

ok guys this is so depressing, my hubby just came home and told me there was snow on his way to work this morning. We were suppose to go play at Arnprior today, well we didn't, I pouted abit , but when I went outside, holy smokes it's friggin freezing out. Came back in and started up the fire, then packed away my golfing clothes, boo hoo, I guess it is hibernation time for me too . Unless we get some nice sunny days.....then woo hoo..maybe one more go !!! guess i better start looking around for that laptop !!!

Next week looks decent up to 13 mid week. Not too rainy. Manageable. I will be out as much as I can. I feel like I have only just finding my swing and now it is almost over.

Golfbum is correct, they have a wicked snow belt in northern NY. I recall the record snow fall around there is 78" in 24 hours, had to cancel a complete truck delivery run many years back when it happened.

I am well over 100 rounds. The most ever for me this year. I used to average 85 or so. I can stop now and be happy, but my attention is drawn to the weather network several times a day.

Now ya gotta be tough to survive the cold weather on the course. Saturday was the Closing Scramble at my course. Noon Tee Time. 6C and winds were out of the west at 40Km/h. NO problem, we all made it around the course.
With help from a mickey of Peach Snapps and two hardy shots of Crown Royal! Man my swing was really loose!
Today, tee off at 8:20. 3C at tee time, wind out of the west again. 4 layers on top. 27 HOLES I went home!
97.5 rounds played, at least 3 more this weekend and I am over the 100 round mark and missed the entire period from May 15-June 28.

Yep, it was cold in GTA last weekend but managed to play Saturday and Sunday. Lots of cold wind. The sun was rare especially on Saturday. We had slushy rain for about 5 minutes or so.
I got scared on Friday when they said that Buffalo had 50+cm of snow. I called up the courses in GTA to see if they still opened and to make sure they did not get snow.

It's been snowing pretty much all morning out here in Calgary. Good for the ski hills in the area
