Swingweight?
How do we determine swingweight?
Should all clubs i build be checked?
Do i adjust for oversized and undersized clubs only or all clubs?
Would app. some feedback as this is new to me.Dirty...Mean...And Mighty Unclean.

The easiest way is to use a swingweight scale since it is an "arbitrary" scale with letters and numbers.
Up until a few years ago, swingweight was THE way to match clubs but more recently it's playing less of a role in fitting since it isn't really directly correlated to the way a club plays.
It is a reasonably good measure of how a club feels from a weight distribution perspective so if you have a club that you like checking the swingweight is a good way start matching.
FWIW, most clubs were designed to be around D2 at standard lengths.

Fool around with the weight of the components and shaft lenghts and see what happens to the swingweight column.Last edited by Chieflongtee; 10-13-2006 at 07:12 AM.
