    BMW Canada will be one of the major sponsors at the Canadian Open through 2009 after signing a three-year deal with the Royal Canadian Golf Association on Friday.

    By no means is this tournament out of the woods just yet, from what I read. The RCGA is still seeking a major sponsor for the event.
    Here's hoping some other corperation will step up to the plate. I do think it will be a hard sell for the RCGA though, mainly due to the date of the event now. The week following a Major can be a tough spot to sell.
    As for Woods showing up, good luck with that one. PLUS we all know TIGER is not the only pro golfer that makes an event happen.
    My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.
