Upgrade taking a while

Sorry for the delays in getting the forum back online this morning. All the customizations I have done to the forum are making it a bit of a pain to do the upgrade.

Some things may be out of whack until I finish but I wanted to bring it back online as soon as possible. It may go offline a few more times but it will be just a few minutes each time.

I like the little green arrows in the quoted parts that take you back to the original quoted post. Nice for when people only quote (or misquote) bits of a post.

Why do we get “Image hosted by Tripod” when we use the “Insert image” option when posting?

Both images are hosted at Tripod. It looks like they are blocking them somehow. You even get that when you click the link to the image

A question on the BCC option in the Private Messages. If someone uses this feature (the possibility scares me) and the person who receives and and replies, does the BCC receipent also receive a copy of the reply?

I also like the new funcion of adding why you edited a particular post ! Hopefully people will use it

Who's in chat will be back when I get to it. Many of these little things are plugins which need to be updated separately from the forum itself. iTrader and a bunch of admin stuf comes first.

As for the BCC I have not seen any of the new features in action yet. Sill up to my neck in setup. Test it and let us know

Understandable, thanks. Ive tried the 'upate' aand it is great. I am staying away from the BCC option, those things scare me as they are very dangerous!

Still at it since 5:00 am. Of course now I am finally relaxing and watching TV and running scripts that take about 30 min each. The database is getting large.

Some of this will not get done today. This took Waaay longer than usual. I have a few new goodies to install like a stats page for iTrader which will be nice for the ho's.

Yah, perhaps we should. The system is running flawlessly though (Knocking on my wood desk)

The update scripts for the threads and forum indexes were fast. The search and similar thread indexes are stupid slow.
