Lots o'goodies......
Hopefully the last clearance of the season. Only thing I'm really looking for would be a decent 5 wd. I have the following:
Taylor Made Logoed Mitsubishi Rayon TP-75 HT X-flex shaft, plays to about 44.5" in a R7 TP head. Asking $75
Wilson Staff 21* FwC ( 7 wood with composite crown) with stock s-flex Grafalloy Nanotech shaft and headcover. Has only seen three, maybe four rounds. Still looks new. They are going for $68+taxes at GT, I'm only asking $50 firm for it.
Finally I've saved the best for last. A Gauge Design GAA3 w/ Aluinser insert. Plays to 34", comes with a red Scotty Baby-T grip in good condition and a black Ping headcover. This thing is in great condition and is one awesome looking putter. But believe it or not, it can't bump the good old Ping O-Blade out of the bag. Asking $180, but feel free to make offers. I'd have to put this putter up there with Scotty's for feel, craftsmanship and quality. Just a great putter, just doesn't suit my stroke right now.
PM with interest.
Or take all three items for $240.Last edited by Big Johnny69; 09-27-2006 at 03:05 PM.

Guessing I must have bumped my head sometime this morning, because this is just plain doesn't make sense. Would like these gone by tomorrow if possible. Will sell all three items for $225 firm. The individual prices I have listed won't be dropping. So if you break it down:
Putter is posted for $180
Shaft is posted for $75
Fwy wd is posted for $50
That's a total of $305, so $225 is just an amazing deal. Break it down how you want, but someone will be taking me for a ride if they pick up these."A life lived in fear of the new and the untried is not a life lived to its fullest." M.Pare 10/09/08

Ok, I'll do the shaft for $50.
The other two for $200.
But still open to trades for 3 or 5 wds. Preferably TM."A life lived in fear of the new and the untried is not a life lived to its fullest." M.Pare 10/09/08

Can I ask how long you carried with the FwC? What's your usual driver distance?
Im kind of missing a club in my bag for long par 5 or par 4's that I shank my drive. I only have a Callawa 4h and another cheap hybrid 21* where I can get 200 or so...
Thanks

Driver distance is anywhere from 250-280. As for the 7 wd, I could hit about 220-235 when I got on it, but usually about the 215-220 mark. I got it for long approaches out of the rough. I'm a pretty good long iron player, so I hit those from the fwy.
BTW, shaft and putter have been traded.Last edited by Big Johnny69; 09-29-2006 at 12:52 PM.

Would also trade the 7 wd for a decent driver length shaft.

Maverick-dont let Geoff be so modest--Kevin and I saw him drive one 320 yds--sure it had a little roll but it still went 320.
Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

Deal fell through, putter is back up for grabs. I'd do both the putter and 7wd for $200.
PM with interest.
Would also trade for a Scotty. Let me know what you have.
**Little update, just measured the putter, its actually about 33.5" and not 34"**Last edited by Big Johnny69; 10-07-2006 at 09:06 PM.

Lighter than average, was actually considering adding some lead tape to it just to up the swing weight a bit. Great for fast greens though.

Nobody wants these? C'mon, $40 for a like new club, and a nice putter. Don't make me put these poor things in the corner of the basement to collect dust. They'll think they did something wrong.
