Nothing major; just a Launch Monitor session at Haime's, followed by the special-order of a Cobra M-Speed 12* with an Aldila NV-65S, cut to 44", and the conspicuous disappearance of my slice! Followed it up with a Perfect Club 18* w/steel shaft (tried the graphite but couldn't get decent ball flight). Done for at least 2 weeks now...

I just got a new set of irons sent to me, the new Taylor Made r7 TP irons, 3-PW with True Temper Black Gold shafts. Also got a new set of TP Satin wedges, 52*, 56*, and 60* with Rifle Spinner shafts for when I go to a four wedge bag. Also waiting on a new putter to be built. I'll probably try a 460 TP with a V2 shaft as well, not real sure how I like the flight on it, but I was out at the TM headquarters and got it on the MATT system out there.

I had finally settled on looking for a set of forged CB irons (e.g. Callaway X-Tour, Nike ProCombo OS, etc.) but thought I had missed out this season when one of OG's "enthusiasts", beat me to the punch to the X-Tour's that were up for grabs on the forum.
Stopped by Golftown today and they had some Titleist 704 cb in graphite S. Hit a bunch of shots with it and the Mizuno MP-60 (DG R300 steel). I found the 704 to be more forgiving and 5-10 yards longer. That is one awesome simulator they have.
I was a bit apprehensive because of the graphite shafts, haven't used them since going back to steel for irosn about 7 years ago. But I have noticed that graphite shafts in my drivers/woods have improved a lot in that time and these 704's seem to be doing the trick for me. Also, $648 for forged Titleist irons is not a bad deal.
Long story short, I have succumbed to late season ho-ingRay

Sonartec md
TM R580xd with a Grafalloy Blue shaft (that I've already sold lol)
Ping i3 5 wood.
I'll have some Tom Watson Gunmetal wedges soon as well. My late season ho'ing is going swimmingly.
I should be picking up a Guerin Rife 2 bar putter in the not too distant future as well.
And possibly a check-go- I wanna put a seriously true roll on the ball Maybe I'll make more putts that way.
