Getting a putter face milled?
I have one of the original CER C-Ray putter heads. Liked the feel but found direction control was weird. Sure enough, I look more closely at the face and it is not flat - it has some bulge like a wood. The other day I am in Golfworks and look at the various C-Ray heads and notice the faces are now all milled!
Now I want to get mine milled flat and try it again. Does anyone know of a machine shop or someone with a mill that can do this? Has anyone done something like this? What is the best way to set it up to mill in the proper loft (4* is the spec in this case)?I don't have an ulcer - I am just a carrier.

It would probably be cheaper to buy a new head. For a machine shop to set up for a one-off job, that will cost.
When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

If you want to give it a go yourself just get a very hard sanding block and use progressively finer grit.
Check for flatness with a straight edge as go you.
