To meet two of those goals right away, you should drop the "perhaps" in
    Perhaps join the tour.

Here is my goals for 2004.

Don't let the putter to spoil my game. Minimize my 3 and more putts per round to a one or 2 three-putts per round, this will save me a minimum of 4 to 5 shots per round.

Break my personal best three times this year. That's playing in high seventies.

Meet more people, make more friends, have a lot of fun.

Have fun competing for OGT cup. The OGT cup is not mine to lose, it's everybody's to win. My hat's off to the winner of 2004 tour champion. but don't count me out yet. Sorry Dave / Steve

    1) Break 90.

    2) Play golf at Calabogie Peaks 9 hole course with wife and 2 kids again. Nothing beats the feeling of having your kids cheer when you hit a par 3 hole 4 feet from the flag.

Break 80 at least twice (hopefully over 18 holes, not just 9).
Get rid of lefty slice (using help from this forum). (Accomplished - so far)
Win at least one cleaner and one CTP (Accomplished)on the OGT this season.
Play at least 10 events on OGT.
Get number of putts down from 34 to 30 avg this season.
Stop bugging my wife with incessant golf chatter. (Harder than initially anticipated!)

Result should be a lowering of my handicap from ~20 to ~14.

Main goal: Enjoy every round I play.

That's what I wanted to do too, but my friends tell me it's impossible to drop 6 shots in a season. I did it last year.

How many shots do you have to drop before you are NOT called a sand bagger?

We never said it was not possible. We just said that going from a 21 to a 15-16 is one thing................ goign from a 15-16 to a 9 is another game.

I have been in shtickland but not for long, I like to be a Shtickian if it's OK with Shtick and off course Shtickett

He doesn't have to drop his handicap any more, as long as he is winning his share of the CTP and CLEANERS, the only way he is ging to drop his handycap is for us not to let him win more CTPs and cleaners.
