Anyone played it recently? Playing it for the first time this year on Saturday and want to know what to expect....or do i?

Played it last Thursday, decent shape. Ponds are starting to fill in a bit, fairways are getting a bit softer compared to the summer. As I recall, the greens were good. Course was not bad at all and should be better after this week's rain. Greens hadn't been punched as of last week, maybe they're doing it this week?

Yeah, I also played last Thursday. Greens ran well, but I just have trouble with the overall condition of the course. I played with a member and he was telling me that the course is only getting about 1/2 to 2/3 of the water it needs. The course has some nice layout holes, but you shouldn't expect to be play the ball down and get many nice lies.

For sure, that's always been an issue there but it seems better this year. I guess I was just comparing it to years past when it was REALLY parched. The rain this week will help a lot.

I heard that they only have about 1/3 of the wells working. Hopefully next year they will have all of them operational. I also heard that they were waiting on testing of teh well water, IMO, they sre short on funds to make them all operational but next year may be the one.

Played there on tuesday and course was in pretty good condition for sept. Grens were rolling rather quick but still were in great shape.
