Should I get excited about my game????.....
Played my work tourney yesterday and actually finished in a tie for first with a fellow co-worker. Now granted we had 30 players and there really is only a handful or so players that actually have a shot at winning I'm actually quite pleased with my play. Shot an 82 at Glen Mar in those windy conditions and the during the early stages of that wickid rainfall. Even though didn't hit the ball super, actually chipped and putted rather well which was a nice change in my game from recent struggles.
And got a barbecue out of it for winning. Woohoo!"A life lived in fear of the new and the untried is not a life lived to its fullest." M.Pare 10/09/08

An 82 isn't bad at all after some struggles with the game man. Especially on a windy day on a bendy track like Glen Mar. It'll come back to ya!!

Yeah, but Glen Mar is a tight track. 82 is my best score by 3 there. Shot 10 over with two doubles and I missed a couple of tricky down hill puts. So, as always, it could have been better, but I'm not too disappointed.
And as for the barbecue, its not going anywhere. We need one for the new home."A life lived in fear of the new and the untried is not a life lived to its fullest." M.Pare 10/09/08

Just stupid the way this game works. Can't break 80 at my much more open and less difficult course, but head to GM and shoot an 82. Just kind of wondering out loud really. But maybe I should play my course the way I played GM yesterday, only hit driver three times.

ONLY 3 times??? That's boring. Let the big dawg eat buddy! (trying to encourage crazy play so I can beat Geoff one day)

Way to go - A win is always something to get excited about, ESPECIALLY when there's a BBQ waiting for you at the end of it.

"Briquets" eh? Haven't opened it yet, not sure what will work in it. Saving it for the new place. Thanks for the offer though.

Well at the least you should get excited about winning a great (and apparently well needed) BBQ[COLOR=DarkRed]"Friends don't let friends use Internet Explorer"
